Snow?!!!...and a "Special Visitor!"

"It's April 25th, almost May, and I come out and see 6" of friggin' snow on my car. This is just getting outrageous." That's the message Nick left me on voicemail Thursday. lol Then yesterday he called to let me know that the snow was to his knees and above the bumper of his car. Now, mind you, all the previous snow had melted and Spring was on its way...until this. Anchorage had record-breaking snow this week. Check out the story on Anchorage Daily News. Be sure to check out the snow gallery there, too. Man, Bob and I were so bummed that we missed this! We love the snow!

And these pictures were taken recently by our tenants. (Notice that the snow was gone from the ground...lol.) They were sitting in the living room, looking out the sliding glass door when they had a visitor! How cool is this?! These pictures made Bob and I sooooooooo homesick. We really miss this kind of stuff. But on the flipside, we get to watch moles dig holes all in our yard here. lol We put a hummingbird feeder out, and had a hummingbird come feed yesterday and today. I'm going to try to get pictures sometime. When the hummingbird came yesterday, it actually stopped and stood on the feeder for a minute. Today, it just hovered like you normally see.
