I'm on a Roll

And, no, it's not the biscuit kind! I've had a few too many of those, which brings me to this "roll" that I'm on. I've started going to the gym on base. I'm breaking into this slowly...haven't changed my eating habits much yet. But, I have big plans! lol Don't we all? I am riding my bike to the gym (about a 10-12 minute ride), and then working out (cardio and nautilus) for about an hour and a half. Needless to say, the bike ride home is a bit leisurely. lol Bob and I worked out one day last week together, and then "played" (I use that term loosely) racquetball for a bit. While I had a blast playing racquetball, I wouldn't have made my brother Pete very proud. lol Once I start going to work, I'm going to try really hard to keep going to the gym. Bob will go with me on my days off, which will really help to keep me motivated. I'm going to try to hit the gym as soon as I get back into town after work each day, before I even head home. Wish me luck!

LYTB means "Love you, too, bitch." lol It all started when Kirsten, Nick, and I took a road trip to Pete's a couple months after Mom died. Pete was married to Sharon and lived in Hobbs. Nick had just turned 5 while at Pete's. When we were at Pete's, Pete would hug Kirsten or me and say, "I love you, bitch." At that time, Nick had never heard the "bitch" word to my knowledge because I never cussed around him then. When Kirsten, Nick, and I were driving home, we were just past Mobile and Nick was in the back seat playing with his Ninja Turtle figures when we heard him say from one Ninja to another, "I love you. I love you, too, bitch." We laughed so hard that we had to pull the car over to get a grip on ourselves. Ever since, Kirsten and I have been ending most phone conversations and all e-mail with that acronym. LOL
