Pretty Sunset from Airplane Window

I was looking through photos I finally uploaded to my computer from my iPhone and remembered I took these cool shots. Here's a photo of a gorgeous sunrise back in November when I was flying from Anchorage to Sacramento. This was while we were still over the state of Alaska. There was no way I could sleep on the plane with this kind of view out there.

This is the tip of Mount Rainier in Washington (just above the clouds).

Here's a photo of Mount St. Helen's which last erupted in May 1980.

While this kind of stuff really impresses and interests me, it's probably old hat for Annette. She's taken some really cool pics from the plane when she's working. You can check out her blog at Annette's. For those of you who don't know, she's a "high altitude beverage consultant". . . her words, not mine! lol

High Altitude Beverage Consultant is supposed to be capitalized, dammit!

By the way--they don't have those kind of sites in my part of the world--I usually see the heartland. (The word 'heart' used here really means 'flat.') Those pictures are fantastic!

Make that "sights" not "sites." I know, my OCD is showing....
